Seeqor

Platform with a personalized dashboard that does medical searching for you

Seeqor is for those with chronic illnesses or the doctors can't seem to figure it out, gone are the days of having to search google for hours or days looking for healthcare information or resources. There are thousands of people sifting through forums, blogs, journals, websites: trying to find the best place to get information.. There are hundreds of new healthcare apps, platforms, and products being created and launched but no central way to make sense of which ones are best.

We have built a social platform with a personalized dashboard that does the searching for you. We take all of the available information and resources out there and bring them to you in a simple and easy way.

Interesting, but I would start and focus in only one community that shares the same disease, dominate that market and learn/develop with the final customer, and from that point create different "segments"/communities of people suffering other problems and then position the business as a social network for people to share, talk and learn about their diseases.
Another point is, because you are a marketplace, how will you find these users?
@RenatoRotsztejn hey thanks for your comment!! I'm not sure if you joined, but if you did, you probably saw the options for conditions/symptoms were limited during the registration process. Our focus is on Lyme's disease, thyroid disease, and a few select inflammatory based conditions during the beta. Our goal is to expand but initially to focus on these very select groups. Did you feel there were too many conditions to pick from?

We also want to be careful about only being a social network because the core product is the dashboard that users get right when they register. It's meant to save them the time of studying Dr Google for an answer and act as a sort of clifff's notes. We found that finding another person to chat and connect with is only one part of the journey. They still need the articles and apps and blogs and information since that is the full picture of what they are searching for online... I'm curious, would you value the social network side of things over the information gathering aspect?

As for the marketing, we hope to utilize co-marketing efforts with the tech providers in our hub, and as it grows, with other tech/authors/clinical trials/etc...to reach out to the specific condition/symptom groups we currently have information and resources for. Social media, ideally word of mouth, typical online ads, and forum/doctor referrals, and guerilla marketing to folks on the street. Do you happen to know anyone in the b-to-c health tech space?

Over 30% of the people have some chronic illness unfortunately, and it's steadily rising. We hope to tell everyone and anyone who might not have time to search to give this a shot in the hopes it can help them.

I absolutely thank you for your comment!! Extremely excited to be here.
@mySeeqor Answering your questions:
Did you feel there were too many conditions to pick from?
Yes, but this is my opinion. Maybe it would be a good idea just to focus on the main one.
Would you value the social network side of things over the information gathering aspect?
I believe it's 50% + 50%, but if your platform can provide me the same information I can find on google, but faster/more accurate, I see value. If not, the social aspect is the main differentiator.
Do you happen to know anyone in the b-to-c health tech space?
I don't. But I would recommend you guys develop a blog and start to create content about the diseases you have on the platform. Share these posts on Quora, third blogs, influencers in these segments to get more traction to the product.

No problem! You're welcome :)
