Design Your Camera Path in AR for Autonomous Drone Flight
Vermeer is an mobile iOS app that makes it intuitive to capture aerial photos and videos. The software provides an alternative to the DJI Go4 app, which requires a user to simultaneously (1)control the tilting and panning of the camera and (2)pilot the drone. Professional drone crews usually employ 2-3 people for even the simplest aerial video. We believe that this is unnecessarily complex, and part of the reason why drone adoption hasn't met forecast expectations.
Vermeer presents the user with a 3D model of their flying environment. They then physically move their device through that environment to create a flight plan for the drone to later execute in the real world.
