API, services & tools for IP address location information
IP Location provides a RESTful API for querying the location (and related information) for an IP address. It can be used on the server side or on client side (web browser) and works even if location services are turned off (i.e. works without GPS / mobile location / browser geolocation).
Some of the use cases for the API are : 1) Query your external IP address, 2) Customise your website content based on location of your visitors, 3) Block visitors from specific geographical locations, 4) Show visitor's location on a map
