You can generate a static API just importing your spreadsheet. We host your API for free.

Congrats on launching this. I love services like this which make existing data more useful. 👍

By the way it says "self-hosted" on the page, but it's actually hosted by you. You might want to correct that. Self-hosted means the user would need to host it on their own server.

@marckohlbrugge Thank you Marc, I thought that the meaning was different.

@Bd_Perez I double checked Wikipedia, because I wasn't 100% sure myself. Turns out there's quite some confusion about the terminology, but it does indeed seem that the more common meaning refers to hosting it on your own server. So 'self-hosted' is where you as the customer host it yourself (like with many open source packages). Whereas 'hosted' is where the service provider hosts it for you (i.e. typical SaaS).

By the way, using Bridge for building MVPs seems like a concept that resonates with people. See engagement on this tweet: https://twitter.com/marckohlbrugge/status/899325830744158209

Perhaps it's worth organising a little contest to see who can come up with the most interesting MVP using Bridge. I'd be happy to throw in some BetaList stickers and provide the winner some free publicity.
