Comoji is a macOS menu bar app that adds Slack- and Discord-style :emoji: autocomplete to any text field, including Messages. Type a colon token, pick from a keyboard-first popover, and press Tab to insert. Everything runs locally and respects your privacy.
It includes 1,870 emoji with familiar aliases, remembers skin tones, lets you browse all with ::, and supports custom trigger keys plus per-app and per-site disable lists. An optional /sticker command in Messages sends animated stickers. It’s free, signed, notarized, and works on macOS 13+.
