Tracking plan is a tool which helps data-informed teams build and share analytics implementation specs (tracking plans) and answer questions like what is being tracked, how and why.
As products evolve, teams track more and more data. However, it becomes less clear what is being tracked and why. On top of that, each analytics tool comes with a number of implementation details a lot of teams are not aware of – which can lead to dirty data. This changes with Tracking Plan.
