The Record

Record, transcribe and summarize your meetings automatically

The Record lets you record, transcribe and summarize your meetings using a mobile app and a web dashboard. This is done by using professionals or speech-to-text ML and putting the analyzed data in your searchable archive.

You can refine and correct the transcription using our online editor, search for keywords and see sentiment graph analysis for your meetings. A team edition will be available after beta testing.

Very nice idea, Aris!

Something that was not clear to me: where does the searchable archive (after analysis) live? Is it sent back to the user for local archiving or do you sport some kind of cloud repository? Also, what kind of security measures do you take for the safeguarding of the discussions?
Avatar?ixlib=rails 2.1
@kensai7 good question! For now there is only the cloud option is available but soon you will be able to host the entire database on your servers for maximum security! Of course you can always just take the result, copy it and then delete it.

@arisAlexis Is your website secured from DDoS attacks?
Avatar?ixlib=rails 2.1
@kanishkT23 of course we will do everything we can as all other sites on the internet that require security and safety.

Great idea. Security and privacy will be a huge priority for you considering you'll be hosting privileged data from journalists, lawyers and doctors. For instance, there's a whole slew of legal requirements you'll need to meet to launch this in the US (e.g. HIPAA)
Avatar?ixlib=rails 2.1
@danielmbure Thank you. Yes we are aware for that. Doctors are currently not supported (because of HIPAA). For other specialties like this they can run a hosted version on their servers. But given that a journalist can hold his recordings on dropbox for example it's not really different.

@arisAlexis Fantastic. Except maybe you'll need to also invest in the level of security that Dropbox has. A shortcut would be to allow people to connect to the cloud storage of their choice. Also, using human transcribers isn't very scalable/ secure. Purely AI transcription would be the killer app.

@danielmbure sure but for 100% results we need to skynet to improve :)
