Savvy

A bookmarking app for people learning tech subjects

Savvy is a comprehensive bookmarking app which allows users to save, schedule and discover bite-sized learning resources. Created by tech learners, for tech learners.

We believe that self-learning should be individualised. Savvy is our solution for tech learners who use a variety of resources, but lack the tool to organise them in one spot.

This would be an outstanding app on top of a very focused idea except for one glaring error. This appears to be mobile device only. Am I missing the browser extensions? Also, the web implementation? There's no way I'm going to save/watch a coder walking me through their VS Code example on a small screen. Virtually every person in my circle of learners have dual monitors and have the YT video, medium story, etc. on the second monitor while hacking away. It is possible I missed all of this, but I conclude from what I read on the landing page. Idea is solid.
@ricksegal Thanks a lot Rick! We'll launch the browser extension soon in early November this year. And for the web, it will be launched soon after the browser extension. The app alone now might indeed feel a bit useless, we hope that with the launch of web clipper it will grow faster :) Anyways, thanks for the kind feedbacks. I really appreciate your support!
@desmondhth Please do add me to your list and let me know when those features go live. ricksegal at gmail
@ricksegal Just added! Cheers Rick! :)
I like the sound of scheduling bookmarks. I've not heard that feature before, it could be useful to book time in my calendar to look at them.
