Make large video calls more personal and meet new people.
Mixaba is a a new, free, way to attend remote social events that periodically breaks people out into small groups at random to replicate the feel of an in-person happy hour.
The way it works is someone creates a party then shares that link. People can join and leave the party at will, and are sorted into small groups of 2-4. Those small groups will periodically shuffle around so you get new people to talk to and keep the conversation flowing.

I started playing around with ideas of how to bring back some of the feel of an in-person social event to a remote-first event and kept circling around this idea of Collisions, or serendipitous encounters. Tony Hseih of Zappos talks a lot about these encounters, but basically these encounters with other people draw out new ideas and connections that otherwise wouldn't be possible.
Over the last couple months I've been working on my answer to that problem, and the result is MIxaba!
