Zume Editor
Native, cross-platform editor for text, code, and large files
Zume Editor is a native text, code, and hex editor for Windows, macOS, and Linux, designed for very large files. You can open and edit multi-gigabyte logs and data without fully loading them into memory.
It offers multi-caret and column editing, wide encoding support, a hex editor, file and folder compare, remote editing over FTP/FTPS/SFTP, and a built-in Git client. For reverse engineering, it reads PE, ELF, and Mach-O executables, disassembles with Capstone, and decompiles using an optional Ghidra install. It includes a CLI (zume-cli) and an MCP server. The app is native (no Qt), available in English and Japanese, with telemetry off by default.
