Vardum

Private messaging that stays private, even if someone has your phone

Vardum (formerly VEIL) offers private messaging that remains confidential even if someone has your phone. Messages are end-to-end and post-quantum encrypted. You sign up with no phone number, no email, and nothing tied to your identity. Chats can erase themselves on your schedule, either side can wipe a thread, and duress and decoy passcodes protect you if someone takes your phone. It is open source (AGPL-3.0); the cryptography is self-reviewed with an independent audit planned for early 2027. iOS beta is available now, and Android is in development.
