Taggy solves this problem by allowing you to store the information about the item on a small tag, placed on the items you want to keep safe. When lost, anyone can scan the code on this tag which tells them who the owner is and allows contact between the two through the app. Simply arrange when and where to meet through the inbuilt messaging feature and you'll have your belongings back in no time.
