I hope it's available outside the U.S, I ask this about every U.S startup now. The idea sounds fantastic, I wonder if it can be used for a membership based site, I have a Google spreadsheet that I am considering developing into such a site.
@ianmayman Hi Ian! It's available everywhere.
Actually, 'sky is the limit', so you can turn a spreadsheet into any website you want. What's more - spreadsheet is the most versatile DB/CMS. Let me know what you are building and we will set you up :)
I already have my database in sheet ready to go. Now I'm just embedding the HTML but it has zero functionality e.g. search, sort etc.
@legalcomplex We have search feature in our APIs. No sort yet, but it doesn't sound as something hard to implement.
@michaloblak Thanks! Check the use case at www.legalcomplex.com/status . I should call it Static ;-). Would you be ready by August?
@legalcomplex This is a perfect use case for our service! 😍 We will be ready in mid-July!
@michaloblak Great, I'm skipping vacation 🏝 so ping me immediately to test and provide feedback.
Love this idea. Using a spreadsheet as your back-end is a great way to kickstart a new business. You get an interface you're familiar with, it allows for community contributions (If you open up access), and easily integrates with existing services like Zapier.

@levelsio's Nomad List ( https://nomadlist.com ) and @daniellemorrill's Mattermark ( https://mattermark.com ) are two great examples of spreadsheet-first startups.
Is this a rebranding of Sheetsu?
@shivkanthb No. It's Sheetsu product that is targeted to the non-IT people.
