Pelatra

An interactive mobile game to play while using cardio equipment

Pelatra is a game that makes cardio exercise engaging and entertaining. Users do not need any special hardware to play--only a phone or tablet is required. The front-facing camera of your device tracks the speed at which you are cycling/moving and detects any horizontal movement to allow you to steer. Your body movements give you hands-free control over your in-game character. Pelatra guides your workouts by exposing you to challenges that are overcome by changing your speed and direction.

Interesting. I wonder how it is like Bitgym and how it is different. Also your beta sign up form may not be working 100%, it did work on my second attempt but there is no confirmation on the website.
@ianmayman The content and its impact on your workout is the main difference--BitGym currently provides tours using HD videos where your speed dictates how quickly you progress through that tour. The outcome is simulating an outdoor biking experience while indoors.

We want to go a step further than visuals or distractions with our game. In addition to making your cardio experience more entertaining and virtually transporting you out of the environment you are in, we want the game to structure and enhance your workout. Using collectibles and elements such as timed gates, objects that chase you, etc. players will be forced to speed up or slow down as they progress through the game. In this way our game can be fun, while also motivating you to workout harder through leaderboards, challenges, and multiplayer functionality in the future.
@ianmayman And thank you for letting me know about the sign up form--will make sure everything is fixed on that front ASAP
I'm planning to buy a VR Headset for my iPhone, it will be fantastic and more likely to be featured by Apple in the near future if it works with VR. Please ensure users own music can also be played if they prefer that.
Website not working. It gives an XML error immediately.
Your product is amazing! I work with a company called Americans Serving Americans. We are looking for products to fund and promote. Are you looking for any additional funding? Or perhaps you can benefit from having a nationwide promotional team? If you have any interest, view this video and get back to me right away. Enjoy the rest of your day!
