Combine the web your way, in one place

Mindstrand is your workbook to integrate the web into one place. Create, organize and share knowledge by easily weaving together images, videos, notes, files, web tools and services however you want, all from the cloud.

Mindstrand is for professionals, students, entrepreneurs, technologists, rebel thinkers, and knowledge workers. Knowledge is power in itself and it's the source of new opportunities. We believe in community and giving our community that power.

Hello! I'm Ryan, Co-Founder of Mindstrand. Thanks for checking us out. We're excited for you to be part of our community. We're very hungry for feedback as we are trying to do things a little differently. We don't feature ads, we don't sell your info, and we've built Mindstrand from the ground up using our own developed emergent behavior platform (ya, ya, blah blah, I know). All of this means nothing unless we get it right with you, so if something erks you, I would love to hear about it. Hit me up on twitter or email when you get your invite code. Thanks!

You mention Evernote and Onenote as your 'outdated' competition. My colleague Rabia is a big Evernote-junkie. @RPISH what's your thought on this?

@MindstrandRyan How do you plan on marketing this? I imagine something so versatile with many different use cases can be hard to explain as it's many different things to different people.

@marckohlbrugge Great question. Evernote and Onenote look great but are built on old technology. To market our differences, we stress two important features of Mindstrand. One, the ability to add interactive web content into your workbook. Users can drop in images (including gifs), videos, links, files, web tools and services (Google drive, maps, wikipedia pages), all in one place.
Second, searching auto-tagged content. Everything dropped into Mindstrand is conceptualized rather than text tagged. Forgot the name of an article but know where it came from? No worries, Mindstrand tagged the source for you making knowledge easier to find.
Our first priority has been to build up our workbook to current expected functions, but our real passion is in the "ok we got all this cool stuff in our workbooks, now what?" stage. We have big ideas on where we can go with Auto-tagging!
