Meme Party is a mobile gaming app based on competitive meme creation. In parties of 3+ people, users create memes given a randomly selected template under time pressure, vote on the best submissions, and accumulate points over multiple rounds.
Meme Party surpasses card/board games in logistical convenience and mobile app games in friendly socializing. While Meme Party can be played locally, it is one of few social activities that people have when long-distance is the only option.
