Kitchat

Kitchat is a group messaging platform initially being released as an Android mobile application. This app introduces the new feature called "mentions" that allows members of a group to tag specific people for certain messages so that not everyone is notified of every single post. Anyone in the group can see all messages being sent, but they won't be notified if it's not relevant to them.

Kitchat also has a simple "Plans" feature that can be used at any point in a group message. As group messages are created and used, plans and ideas to get together with the group will come up and members can simply click the "Plans" tab on the app to formalize plans for the entire group. Simple as that.
