GoHoardly
Free budgeting app that starts your month on payday, not the 1st
Most budgeting apps assume your month starts on the 1st. GoHoardly starts it on your payday. When your salary arrives, you close the current period and open a new one with budgets, carryover, and reports all following your real pay cycle. Income is split into four buckets: Flow (a daily spending budget that grows as the period progresses), Fixed (rent, subscriptions, bills), Extra (irregular purchases with unused balance carried over), and Savings (set aside automatically each period with named goals and progress). A built-in shopping list ties planned purchases to the current budget period.
