FilePreviews

FilePreviews provides an API to generate image previews and metadata from a lot of file types. Some of the most notable are Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, PDF, audio and video file formats. The service also provides things like OCR processing to extract text from images and image hashing which facilitates the creation of a "similar images" index for later searching. Another great feature is that in order to consume the API there is no server required on the part of the developer. We have two distinct interfaces, one that works on the browser and a RESTful one that works on servers.
