FFWD Dating is an app that is creating a new category of online dating: using curated video-powered profiles (“Scenes”) to provide a glimpse of what it would be like to be on a first date with each prospect even before you tap “like”. The Scene, which consists of answers to 5 question prompts, must be recorded within the app and cannot be edited or filtered. As such, the Scene creates certainty that not only are you accurately depicted, but your understanding of each prospect is rooted in better intuition and chemistry - which leads to better connections. In 2010, Tinder’s revolutionized online dating with the “swipe”. In 2022, FFWD’s Scene is the next great innovation in online dating.
