Arlie

Send, receive, and collaborate on your gmail accounts right in Slack

Arlie is a Slack application that lets users send, receive, delete and collaborate on email right from within Slack. We currently support Gmail authentication with more integrations on the way.

I thought slack was the end of mail?
Thanks for the question! While Slack is an important new way to communicate - it is not the end of email. Email is still a critical communication medium that businesses rely on heavily. Arlie is a way to surface these emails into the tool (Slack) we spend a lot of our time in. This allows us to collaborate on responses with our co-workers, manage access-control of who sees the emails by adding/removing users (since Arlie can integrate with as many google accounts as you want per Slack team - one Google account per Slack channel), as well as other planned added features - such as custom templates, read-receipts, and scheduled email sending.
I'm guessing that what sets this app apart from other Slack email apps is the collaboration features?
Some things that set Arlie apart from other email Slack apps:
- Easy in-channel collaboration
- Unlimited accounts per slack team (one per channel)
- No need to setup any additional email accounts as we use Google's Gmail API to perform all email account interactions. This makes Arlie inherently more secure as well - as we don't hold onto any of your email data
- Plans to make Arlie even better with more awesome features. Hopefully with input from you guys :)
