SelfGuard

SelfGuard is a universal API for encryption. With so many recent data breaches taking place, it's necessary for developers to implement encryption at the data field level, but the existing open-source tools are difficult to implement and maintain securely. While crucial, encryption is often tangential to a company's true value prop. Hence, SelfGuard decided to focus on ease-of-use and secure key management of behalf of clients, so that they can focus on building their products without worrying about security.
