Status

Status is an app that let's Facebook users update what they are upto. The intent is that the updates should be personal and not be used for promotions and trolling. The app accepts 140 characters text only input to ensure this. All notifications are turned off by default so that users won't be nagged with the annoying beeps. However, if a user wants notifications from a friend, he/she can be followed to receive notifications. Users can also enable messenger chat for their account by giving their Facebook username. This lets other users connect with them easily. We like to think of this as an opinionated social app with conscience.
