Compass.to is a free app in limited iOS beta where you can tell impresive stories by bundling images with places and music. Then use JoinMe to invite like minded people in your proximity or trusted friends to this story for the time you're at it.

Users can reply with contextual predefined texts and kill the back-n-forth of sending messages to accomplish an impromtus meetup right when and where it's happening, only for the time you're at it.
