The Burnout Meter is a desktop app that visualizes the often invisible physical labor associated with knowledge work. It features a physics engine that calculates the total weight lifted based on actuation force, for instance, 4,600 keystrokes could equate to 515 kg. Additionally, users can monitor their health through a real-time HP bar as they work, and view burnout metrics that convert scroll distances into relatable heights, like that of the Statue of Liberty.
