Elasticsearch orchestration inside AWS
Autopilot is an AWS based provisioning and orchestration tool for Elasticsearch, think Heroku but managed inside your AWS account.
It offers the best of hosted Elasticsearch experience without compromising on: 1. Data security (data never leaves AWS, you can use AWS security groups for access control). 2. Low latencies and high reliability (because the data can be in the same VPC as your other apps),and 3. Infrastructure concerns (you can now use those AWS credits!) That's how Autopilot derives it's name: it's a new approach to distributed software deployment that takes the best from hosted without taking away control from you.
