Apricot provides a simple API to discover restaurants based on user's location and restaurant's social velocity. Social velocity is calculated from analyzing user interactions on various social platforms (Foursquare, Facebook, Foodspotting, Instagram, Yelp, Twitter etc.) about a restaurant. Apricot has analyzed over 1.8 million user interactions for sentiment and velocity. Developers can also lookup restaurant IDs for Foodspotting, Yelp, Foursquare, CitySearch, Urbanspoon, Google Maps, Instagram, and Facebook.
