OKTO

First smart ring that allows you to talk and make calls

OKTO's gentle vibration notifies you of incoming calls. To answer just cup your hand over the ear and start talking while your phone is in your pocket. Want to turn on OKTO, just wear it, push with your fingertip on the button to answer the call. Want to turn off? Just take it off. Have a smartwatch? Dial number on your smartwatch and answer through OKTO. Our ring helps you to make the most of your phone.

All of us have ever forgotten to switch off silent mode and because of it have missed calls. We also have been in the situation when someone gives you a call at a wrong moment. And of course, all phablets' owners know - big screen can be a burden. Using OKTO, you will never miss a call.

My first reaction was that it seems uncomfortable holding your arm in that position for a long duration, but then I realised that's how we use phones today hehe.

Considering smart watches allow for subtle notifications already, would you say your biggest added value then is that with OKTO you can more easily answer the phone without needing to hold a device?

Also, what are your plans for the future? I can see a lot of potential once you start adding in additional sensors (gestures, etc.)

@marckohlbrugge Hi Marc! Thank you for the comment! Yes, our main idea is to make calls without touching the phone. So it lets you to both free your hands and ears (if we talk about Bluetooth Headsets). We have a few ideas for the future and will be announcing them later and additional sensors are definitely on our list!
