This is a great opportunity to get exposure within a high-paced startup. We need a motivated, organised, achiever - to lead the sales initiative in new/future Deliveroo markets around the UK and London. The role involves:
Strategy; to identify the key restaurants and cuisine types to approach.Running the full sales process, from the initial email or phone call, to a restaurant being signed, confirmed and taking orders.Training and onboarding; you’ll be the first point of contact for a new restaurant so it’s essential you help them to understand how to get the best out of their new Deliveroo tablet.Liaising with the market launch team to prioritise markets and plan your time.Constantly identifying new ideas and strategies to make us more efficient.Working predominantly on your own in the field, travelling three days a week with flexible working hours.You have at least 1 year in a sales related role where results demonstrate your high achievements.You are fun but professional - you’ll be representing the Deliveroo brand for restaurants who have never worked with us.You are great at communicating via face to face check ins as well as through phone or email.You have the ability to persuasively demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients.You are tenacious and motivated by targets.You are happy to hop on a train to the other side of the UK up to 3 or 4 days a week, to approach the best restaurants.You love eating food….did I mention that identifying our target restaurants often involves sampling their meals.
