The Business Continuity Management Analyst will be a key member of the Security Governance, Risk, Compliance and Contingency Management team. The Analyst position will focus on implementation and maintenance of the Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery program across Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE). 

This job contributes to SIE’s success by ensuring the continuity of people, process, partners, customers, and assets throughout Americas, Europe and Asia regions. The candidate assesses business and technical risk across the company and guides the development of remediation strategies. The candidate is expected to be strong with corporate and technology functions. The BCM Analyst monitors, tracks, and reports on BCM implementation progress requirements and works with the responsible parties to drive timely remediation. They provide as needed training and awareness to company personnel.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute towards ensuring company preparedness of the most critical processes and dependencies which have the highest exposure.
  • Participates in critical business discovery process with internal and external stakeholders
  • Helps implement training programs, develop guidance manuals, and conducts business continuity exercises
  • Contributes to essential business continuity subject matter expertise to internal and external partners.
  • Participates in software and technology enablement to help enhance enterprise resiliency
  • Implements and maintains Business Continuity Management program across multiple Sony PlayStation business groups.
  • Document and implement approved mitigation strategies, analyze risk and security reports as a means to identify trends and root cause analyses, maintain expertise of all Risk and Continuity Management disciplines and corresponding security activities by identifying potential business interruptions and developing safeguards against these interruptions.
  • Utilize Business continuity planning skills, including detailed Value and Dependency Discovery, Estimation of Minimum Operating Requirements, Exposure Analysis, Current and Future States Assessment and Development, Application Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Governance Framework Set UP, Resiliency Trainings Content Development and Delivery, Crisis Management Planning and Assessment, and Pandemic Planning and Assessment.
  • Undertake disaster recovery responsibilities including identifying and analyzing potential problem areas and single points of failure resulting in interruption of critical systems and data.
  • Work closely with Crisis Management team and assist in development of Emergency Action Plan and Pandemic Plan.
  • Act as facilitator for Business Continuity Governance and Steering Committees

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology.
  • Previous Technology Business Continuity Planning, Technology Risk Management, Enterprise Risk and Security Planning or related experience 2-4 years
  • Cross-functional project experience is a must, understanding of different business and technology functions
  • Product Technology or Technical Project Consulting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Web Store Operations preferred
  • Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) Preferred
