Senior Experience Designer (OpenTable, Inc., San Francisco, CA)
Use strong communication skills to work independently to define the diner experience on opentable.com. Work independently to design future lists (favorites/topically-driven collections), the RestRef widget the Private Dining feature, reservation booking flow, and the mobile web experience. Use strong communication skills to work on full product cycle, including defining product scope, conducting user research, brainstorming and sketching out concepts, storyboarding, user journey mapping, wireframing, low-fi and high-fi prototyping and user testing.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Human Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, plus 2 years of experience performing Web and Mobile User Experience Research and Design (including visual and interaction). Must also have experience in the following: any experience using Adobe CS or Sketch for creating low to high fidelity screen mock ups and graphical illustrations; any experience creating research plans, screeners and recruiting research participants, facilitating usability research, synthesizing findings and making recommendations based on research; any experience addressing business/user experience opportunities and communicating concepts through sketches, user flows and storyboards to tell the story of a design from end to end; any experience building prototypes; any experience producing and documenting the behavior, flows, states, and pixel level details of interaction components for the development team to build from; any experience making written and verbal presentations relating to design challenges, opportunities, and solutions to a project and design teams; any experience providing and documenting design and product feedback in group settings in person or via apps (including InVision).
