I think founders should build simple landing pages themselves first, and see where that takes them. If they see some interest, invest a few hundred dollars to build a really simple next version, and see where that takes them. I think a developer would be able to make about $2000/month working with founders in this way, which is a great amount to earn, especially for young developers. And it wouldn't even be a full-time gig.

One of Dust's users is actually helping build Dust for us:

Great question, how do you think we should go about it?
@saadsahawneh Really difficult to say haha. Could go so many ways. As a developer I would want to be paid a fair $X/hour rate. As a founder I would definitely want to pay a flat fee...

We believe there's a better way to launch startups: quickly. And we want to make it easier for people to save time and money launching theirs. If you are a developer or a non-technical founder -- basically anyone interested in building a startup, sign up with your email on www.dusthq.com and we'll be giving you early access to Dust as soon as we're ready.
