I've been caught out a couple of times where I incorrectly thought I'd have a projector to work with. Attempts to present by having everyone crowd around the screen of my laptop end poorly to say the least!

It struck me as silly that while everyone in the room had access to a phone that they could easily use to follow along on while I present, there was no super easy way for me to get my slides to them and control them appropriately.

Thus slidecast was born....

Incidentally, I've started to use slidecast even when I've got access to a projector - it makes a great remote if you like to wonder across the room like I do...
