Interesting. I assume we need to send events, like on Mixpanel or Intercom etc for the workflows to work?

I already planned on using Mixpanel for behavioral email notifications, can you compare? Since I'm bootstrapping my own SaaS (will release on BetaList later today), the free offer sounds good – but won't it skew the feedback a little bit?

Anyway, good luck.
@Dartanjan

Hi Darko,

Thanks for you feedback!

> I assume we need to send events, like on Mixpanel or Intercom etc for the workflows to work?

Exactly. It'll be as simple as Google Analytics.

> I already planned on using Mixpanel for behavioral email notifications, can you compare?

Mixpanel is terrific tool for analytics but its core is not sending customers communications. They don't integrate with different channels (emails + push notifications + web notifications + facebook messenger etc..) and they don't support multiple actions (e.g. notify my sales team in Slack when a contact send a request for a new Demo).

Plus the email suite we're building will let you boostrap everything from transactional emails (e.g. Password reset etc) to pre-made workflows template (e.g. a 14days trial onboarding process)

The idea is to help SaaS startups to quickly bootstrap all their marketing automation activities.
@leonardofed thanks. At this point I’ll probably only use email. (I’m a team of one just starting out, so at this point I don't need many integrations) I'll let you know if this changes.

This looks cool. I imagine it like Sketch with code – which would be too good :)
Thanks, @_CharlieBuckle! At first, Google Analytics and Mixpanel will be supported, but more will be added afterwards, depending largely on what the user base needs. Which tools are you using on a regular basis?
@Dartanjan GA and Mixpanel - so that works for me! Signed up and keen to try it out when it's ready. When do you think that will be? 👍
Which problem are you solving? You say digital cards are endless, but I always felt personal cards are endless too – you get like 200 pieces and only give out like 15-20. Not that I'm defending physical cards (I have 0 for my own company at the moment), but I never felt like business cards digital replacements provided a suitable alternative for physical contact – something to look at right there, when you make your first contact with someone. It's a different product IMO.
@zanyfuture I wouldn't say it matters that much, but yeah I only opened it to see how much it looks like Stripe :)
Can you share a screen or something of how job posts and the application process actually look like? Curious. Thanks!
@Dartanjan Hi there. sure. In this page if you hover your mouse on the Screen shot above, there are other images you can view which has the screenshots of Post and Find jobs. If you could not find it, please email us at [email protected] or [email protected] so we can send you few screen shots of the App :)
Shut up and take my money. How does scheduling work?
@Dartanjan Good question - there are a bunch of options for targeting a survey, including based on URL, exit intent, first-time vs repeat visitors, random sampling, or by any custom user property you provide.
Btw I wish some labels ("Highly likely" etc) had more contrast. At least AA.
@Dartanjan Thanks, that's good feedback. Will take a look!
Looking really nice! I might give it a shot. One question at a time seems like a good idea. I'm curious what frequency works well – once a week, once in 3 days, daily. Would be interesting if you had some retention stats as well but I get you've only just started 😀

Good luck!
@Dartanjan hey, thank you!

> I'm curious what frequency works well – once a week, once in 3 days, daily.

As always it depends. There are many factors that affect the efficiency: the app itself, users and type of questions. If it's project management tool, it won't be a good idea to ask questions every day because people come to work there and don't expect to be disturbed that often. E-commerce sites would want to ask questions as often as possible (once per day is the minimum period). We provide question efficiency metrics so our users could find settings that work the best for them.

Thank you for a great question! We're going to look further into the data and suggest our users optimal period.

> Would be interesting if you had some retention stats as well but I get you've only just started 😀

We don't have retention stats but we bet on analytics a lot, so we're potentially interested to implement it. Could you please tell more about your use case so we can better understand the needs? As you noted we're in early access, but it also means that we're flexible and can quickly introduce features that our users want.

Thank you for trying us out!
